Sushi Gourmet UK Gender Pay Gap Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017, companies with over 250 employees are required to report the percentage difference in average hourly earnings between men and women. As part of this commitment, we publish our results both on our website and the government portal. The data is based on the snapshot date of 5th April 2024 and includes the following measures: The mean and median gender pay gap The mean and median bonus gap The proportion of male and female employees receiving bonuses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Gender Pay Gap Results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sushi Gourmet UK acknowledges that this year\u2019s Gender Pay Gap report may not fully reflect the overall composition of our workforce due to the methodology applied. However, we remain committed to fostering a workplace that promotes equality, opportunity, and career progression for all employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One key observation from this year\u2019s data is that a higher proportion of senior positions within the organisation are still held by male employees While this remains an area of focus, we have made meaningful progress by increasing female representation at leadership levels, including the appointment of two female senior executives. Additionally, we now have an almost equal number of female (7) and male (8) area managers, a significant step towards gender balance in leadership roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a store level, the workforce snapshot showed 33.5% male colleagues and 66.5% female colleagues\u2014an increase in female representation compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pay Gap Trends and Progress<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 The median pay gap stands at 3%, a notable improvement from previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 The median bonus pay gap remains flat at 0%, demonstrating continued fairness in performance-based rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 Removing executive team data from the study significantly reduces the bonus gender pay gap from 38% to 22% and the mean gender pay gap from 14% to 8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 84% of female employees received a bonus compared to 77% of male employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
